Hello, I have a new to me cutter. It works fine most of the time, but in some instances the blade will be cutting a letter and then shoot off down the screen. It's really wasting the vinyl, are there any suggestions out there? I am running winpcsign, cutting 1-2 inch letters at a speed of 20 with a knife offset of 12.

Any help would be appreciated!

The problem is probably on your cable .
1- Wath kind of cable
2- Plotter name
3- WinPCSIGN Version

This happened to me, but I got a 10 foot extra long strip cut into mine, seems the cut and paste into a new document gives extra info you can't see as I had had a 10 foot strip line in my racing strip test (see creations forum on here) but did not paste the extra 10 foot parts into the "hood' part. Killed a lot of vinyl with a random strip ... couldn't finish my car Sad

You can have a static problem .
if the static is to high this kind of china plotter has proble with communication.

If the static is Ok Try to upgrade your software
